Somalia, Republic. An Order of the Somali Star, II Class Grand Officer Set Newly Listed fabricated in Korea(Amarka Xiddiga Soomaaliyeed). Instituted in 1961. Grand Officer Badge: four piece construction, in silver gilt with blue and white enamels, the adjoining suspension in silver gilt with blue and green enamels, each of the five points of the star with a ball finial, measuring 57 mm (w) x 85 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, chipping and crazing evident in the white enamels on the arm at 5 o'clock, on its original full length neck ribbon; and
