1938 Print Gion Festival Tosa School Float Celebration Japanese Screen Art XAC1 YLMC1 Please note that the purpleThis is an original 1938 halftone print of a Japanese screen titled, "Scenes of the Gion Festival," created in the early 18th century. Beginning at the top right and going to the left, the floats seen include, Naginata boko, Jingu yama, Kotowari yama, Kasa boko, Kankoku boku, Toro yama, a 'yama' too poorly restored to identify, Tokusagari yama, Tsuki boko, Yamabushi yama, Yawata yama, Rakutenyama, and Kikusui boko. Shown in the lower row from left to
