1893 Chicago World's Fair Lord of the Isles Locomotive Great Western FAIR3 XGHA4 This monument is all that"Lord of the Isles." This is an original 1893 halftone print of one of the most celebrated locomotives in the world. Built for the Great Western Railway Company, it was exhibited as the chief wonder of the first World's Fair in London. It was exhibited in the Transportation Building of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. (Please note that, typical of halftone prints, there is printing on the reverse.)
